Rune factory 4 is god tier seriously one of the best 3ds games. graphics and story are kinda w/E but its jam packed with features content and charm

Y'know, I can pretty much tell you that without some sort of serious wrangling, we are NOT getting this repackage, at least in the US.
Natsume has publishing rights to RF3. Xseed has publishing rights to RF4. In Japan, both games were published by Marvelous and Marvelous now owns the IP....yeah, I don't see this happening. Pin your hopes that the remains of Neverland now owned by Marvelous decide to make another RF...or, more likely, a "Rune Factory-like game". Not sure who has the rights in EU...did you poor bastards ever even get RF4? ETA: And NOW I see this post LOL NIK12787 posted... AirRoar posted...crosses fingers that this get localized.

The only thing I didn't like about Tides was the whole Golem navigation system because it takes forever (or a lot of stamina) to get where you want to go and it also consumed a lot of in-game time.

The dialogs is limited (RF3 have marriage candidate's dialogs change everyday), marriage is locked by the plot (it even worse than RF3 at least in 3 the plot end with you marry while in Tides you need to finish the whole plot to even start dating), no real farming and the level curve for forging/crafting/cooking is terrible (and add in it you need to make everything one by one with that stupid minigame).

This is wonderful, actually. I'm genuinely glad that there's still so much interest in these games. I used to love RF3, and RF4 is still probably my favorite 3DS game.

I actually don't mind farming in Tides. If possible I'd rather they not put too much focus on it at all, which is what I liked about RF4 (though I haven't completed it, from what I've played so far I don't actually have to take care of a farm because there are other things I'd like to prioritize).

I had always assumed Marvelous owned the rights to the RF series, as it started life as a spin-off to Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons. Even though Neverland went bankrupt, I figured they'd find another way to continue the series. I'm pretty sure if there were going to be another RF, it'd be a console entry. That seemed to be the pattern after RF2.
