Its literally the size of a SD card. Seriously, wish we could actually fit bigger styluses in the holder.

Nintendo will sell longer stylus separately for 20 bucks a pop, don't worry.

it's a shame that the ds can't have some sort of "retractable" stylus that gets longer when you need to use it, and gets smaller when you return it to its holder. that would be a really neat feature for the 2ds :(

It's not that big of a deal. I have medium sized hands for a guy, and it's not too short for me. Hardly any games use the stylus often anyway.

Stylus is surprisingly okay when in use, but that sucker's gonna get lost so fast...
I ordered a couple of the yellow styluses from Nintendo's site (the ones that came with the Pikachu console) a while back, and I use those. They are easy to spot because of the bright color, and they fit in my case fine.

This has been a general complaint since the introduction of the N3DSXL... I have the standard sized N3DS so it's even worse for me, but when at home I just use a spare DS stylus, and away from home I bought a retractable stylus with a leash for the system.

i'm assuming they changed from the o3ds stylus to save costs but it worked so well, it's such a shame.

How does it compare to OG 3DS stylus?
I like it better than most and I never use it erect
