I think there is a pretty good chance of getting FF on switch, at least a spin off. Has there been a console from Nintendo to not have one except N64 and WiiU?
FF4 might surface again. Cause we never have enough of FF4s out there. Maybe we will get a prequel!

Though personally, I prefer Dragon Quest, so I'm happy either way. :-)

Spin-offs, sure. Mainline? Not a single chance and don't kid yourself. The only ones I can see are I-VI or remasters of them. VII-XII, excluding XI, have never left PlayStation consoles. You're never getting them on a Nintendo or Microsoft system. This includes the KH games from KH1-KH2. And KH3 isn't coming because the system isn't powerful enough to run it.
XIII, sure, but why would you want it? Are you that desperate? Just buy a PS3, 360, or get it on Steam. XIV isn't happening due to the online brilliance Nintendo has unless they figure out how to make it work alongside X1 and PS4, not happening. And XV simply isn't possible because the system isn't powerful enough to run it. Simple as that. FFVII:R is a PS4 exclusive until otherwise stated so that's not happening either, and it also isn't powerful enough to run on this thing. But it'll most likely won't come out in the next 2 years so it'll be a PS4/PS5 cross gen title anyway.

I just really hated "lol hey time to use everyone else you barely ever used. Oh guess what they need skills and levels". It really turned down my enjoyment of the game. When a game sours me like that i usually don't forgive the game. I actually didn't find Kefka all that great. Though i did play it on the gba after years of hearing people go "oh man kefka is one of the best villains in all of gaming." All i saw was a clown as the final boss. The main thing about a port of FFXV is that they'd have to port over the engine first. Because FFXV is the only game to use the Luminous engine with SE now moving over to UE4, the likelihood of FFXV on Switch is even less. Not about whether Switch could handle it, but simply because they probably don't want to take the time to test it.

Kuja seems more related to an edgy teenager in terms of attitude. not bad though, i liked Kuja as well. to be honest, i would be happy with a FFIX port on the switch as well. Ardyn was great because funny enough, he takes a lot of cues from Kefka as well (not gonna mention all of them because spoilers). the only problem with ardyn is the lack of more variety for a Final Boss. the fight in itself is fine, but adding something more like another phase or something would've been better. |

Dissidia is a PS4 exclusive. It was made in collaboration with Sony using their tech and engine alongside key development people from Sony which was used as the "port" to arcades. The arcade version is the PS4 version.
Type-0 has absolutely no reason to come to this thing. It already came out years ago and its main selling point was the FFXV demo. No one's porting it for the 5 Nintendo drones who refuse to buy other systems. What profit would they make wasting their time rereleasing a game that already sold a million+ on PS4/X1?

14 is more than double the size of the base internal storage, i wouldn't bet on it, or anything that crosses the 20gb threshold really.

I'm aware they exist. The three VC releases, FF1 remake, Theatrhythm+CC and Explorers are all 3DS has in the way of FF games. Oh and that one puzzle game that's also on mobile.

FCs, PSN and Gamertag in profileSomething like FFX/X-2 HD, FFXII TZA, FFXIII trilogy set, Type 0 HD, and maybe FFXIV are all plausible. All of these games are either PS3 games or PS2 or PSP games remastered for the PS3/PS4. Spinoff exclusives are also possible too. World of FF could be a possibility as well since it has a Vita version.
I wouldn't count on FFXV or FFVII-R for that matter coming to the system. FFXV's game engine itself was difficult for them hence they decided to use UE4 for KH3 and FFVII-R.
