By 2019, the Ultra Switch will come out.
- It will do 1080p60 Undocked
- 4K 60fps Docked
- It will come with a storage of 1TB
- it will come with a Pro Controller AND JoyCons
- The Pro Controller will have a battery life lasting 365 days. It will only take 1 hour to fully charge. Incredible Right?
- Everything will cost $200. Very Cost Efficient

Microsoft and Sony will close their companies because nobody will be buying their products anymore!!

It's rumored to just continue having more powerful versions of it coming out if it's more successful, like the iOS and Android.

2019 is when video game production of the Switch stops and E3 2020 is when they will announce the new console.

That should be enough for...
- Three 3D Mario Games (Odyssey, Galaxy 3, 3D World 2)
- Three Mario Kart games (MK8D, MK9, MK10)
- Two Smash games (one should release next year)

Yes please.

- Having three types of 3D Mario is a smart idea.
- MK8Deluxe was a lazy cash grab. MK9 & 10 should make up for it
- The Smash game that releases next year should cater to casuals. The one after that should cater to the competitive scene

And that, is how you please everyone

By this time next year, we'll know what the first Switch revision is going to be like.

We knew about Switch's confirmed existence in, what, 2014? Definitely by Summer 2015.

I'd give Switch about 4 years before it's phased out, and ports of ARMS, Splatoon 2, and Mario Odyssey show up.

Nintendo has a really bad habit of not supporting their consoles, especially if they don't meet first year sales expectations.

Take PS3, for example. When it came out, it was the most hated console of the generation. It failed from a sales and game standpoint for years. Sony stuck with it, and in the end, one could easily the make the argument that PS3 is the best 7th generation console.

PS3 outlived Wii AND Wii U. Just think about that for a minute. That's a feat Nintendo will NEVER replicate.

This iteration of the Switch probably won't last 2 years. Considering the current Switch's Tegra X1 processor can nearly be cleanly swapped for the X2, I'm certain we're looking at a "mid-gen upgrade" as soon as the price goes down. Seriously, just switch out the Tegra X1 for the X2 and we'll have substantially longer battery life by under-clocking to match the X1. I'm not certain what they'd have to do to get better performance out of an X2 Switch, but the playtime increase is a very simple thing.

- Luigi's Mansion 3 & 4
FIVE NSMB Games (since they only copy-paste everything)

And so on......

The Switch shall be the biggest Nintendo Console ever

That's more NSMB games than their previous four systems combined

It's also evident that you didn't play them.

Oh, and the SNES outlived both the Genesis and the Saturn, at least in Japan. So you're wrong there too.

5-6 seems like the safe bet.
there isn't any reason to believe it will be longer or shorter than an average console cycle atm.
if come next year this time ti is still selling as well as it is now or better, than maybe we can start talkign 8 years +.

Somewhere around 4-6 years. I'm not expecting anything more specific than that until it's been out long enough for complaints over supply die down and we have a clearer idea of what the size of its install base will look like.

Based on the single port they brought over from the Wii U? Nintendo doesn't really do that much, you must be thinking of Sony.

Nintendo has a really bad habit of not supporting their consoles, especially if they don't meet first year sales expectations.

Again, you must be thinking of Sony. Nintendo supported the Wii U as well as a single company could despite its low sales. Sony however...I mean just look at the poor Vita. When was the last first party game released for it?

Take PS3, for example. When it came out, it was the most hated console of the generation. It failed from a sales and game standpoint for years. Sony stuck with it, and in the end, one could easily the make the argument that PS3 is the best 7th generation console.

How? It was the most expensive, ran most third party titles worse than the weaker 360, and had fewer exclusives than the Wii. And it certainly sold worse than the Wii, there's no doubt about that. It was worth having, but that was really in spite of Sony.

PS3 outlived Wii AND Wii U. Just think about that for a minute. That's a feat Nintendo will NEVER replicate.

It really didn't. Getting some downgraded ports isn't really outliving anything. Hell, by that metric the Wii is still getting titles released for it as well, but you're just going to pretend that doesn't exist

About 4 and if lucky maybe 5. Between the end of the 2nd year of the switch is when I expect to see the drop in sales. After than just look what the Wii u had for it's latter years and that should be about the same for the switch as well.

5 - 6. Nintendo has rarely deviated from that time frame.

I'm willing to bet my account along with some money or things of equal worth that the Switch will last longer than 4 years and will continue to sell well, better than the Wii U did.

How about it? You seem certain after all. Wanna make a deal or will you take back your words?

Nintendo consoles don't last long. They have the least amount of value as far as the console and as far as the games. That's why it's best to get a Nintendo console at the end of its life and a PS4 day one.

lol then 3DS is not a nintendo console it jas sold for 200 american dollars since the first year after they revised the price and added the Ambassador program, and it has been supported by 1st and 3rd parties for 6 years and continuing support om releases until holiday 2019 at least here in Japan, are you Americans treated that badly by your companies?

Why this talk about the Switch's successor? The switch is not even a year old, and just came out.

Hold your horses and just enjoy what you already have.
