More information will be coming as these are just the first leaks. So far, what we know is that the new form will get both Accelrock AND Counter, and the ability Tough Claws. As well, on the release date of MooUSU (November 17, 2017), we will get a Rockruff gift distribution.

I think that Dusk Form looks amazing in that concept art. It may just be the lighting and the stance, but it looks more like a mix of Midday and Midnight instead of just Midday.
MegaMewtwoX was right that the ingame sprite was just a copypaste and it looks less like one otherwise.

Tough Claws + Accelerock = already better than either old forme
Remember it already gets all 3 elemental fangs and Crunch as well, all it needs is access to EQ or even Bulldoze to be somewhat more relevant

Also im betting the event rockruff has a hold item that turns it into Dusk on evolution, OR it's standalone and the USM demo will have the item
...or the z-move that was shown in the trailer, of course. But that was for Midday so idk.

Accelerock helps it revenge kill some Rock-weak 'mons, but that's about it. With Accelerock AND Tough Claws at its disposal, all it needs its Midday's speed (or close enough to it) and it might actually be worth using. Midnight is awful no matter which way you look at it; No Guard Stone Edge isn't worth the poor speed and awful defensive typing.

just hope speed and attack dont get screwed, slap on accel and sucker punch, a rock move and a coverage fang move, and spam the former two as long as psychic terrain arent here lol

Well equipped with claws and fangs, it also uses the sharp rocks in its mane as weapons. Tough Claws probably comes from the rocks sticking out of its mane

anyways the only real issue with this is if lycanroc doesnt get a new contact rock move, which is likely. so maybe good is too much, but def above average just for the novelty of a pretty strong priority rock move

Wolf's utilize both, but why this or iron fist werent initially a ability for midnight escapes me completely, hell they could have given day form strong jaws or tough claws even on the flip side. That would have made perfect sense.
Stat wise for dusk, I doubt its gonna have more BST, i doubt GF are going willing to invalidate either forms doing so. A pity, if there's any mon that needed a 3rd stage this gen, it was rockruff.

Ah, thats right, its got the Mega Aerodactyl problem.
The best Rock moves (Stone Edge and Rock Slide) don't make contact, so it can't benefit from STAB with its ability.

Um... It's almost the same just not as red as the image on the right. It's not uncommon for moves to have tweaked animations between games but it could be a blunder in coloring in the magazine.
Edit: Then again, Route 1 in USUM does look way more vibrant than SM so Howl's animation could be more vibrant in USUM.
