I got the feeling, when they announced that a Pokemon RPG is coming to the Switch, that Nintendo realize that they need this console to work out a lot better than Wii U. So yeah, i got a better feeling than with the U

Switch will overtake Wii U in Year 2.
Super Bomberman R, Mario Odyssey, Mighty Gunvolt Burst and Sonic Mania are all I'm really hyped to play from the system this year, but that doesn't mean the library itself doesn't already have some of the Wii U's heavy hitters even if I'm not so interested in them, BOTW(On Switch) Splatoon 2(Basically Splatoon 1 but better) and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe(Better MK8) It's only a matter of time before it gets Smash, and other high quality Wii U exclusives.
Forgiveness is Divine but never pay full price for late Pizza.

It's a pretty safe bet.
The best game on WiiU is on Switch as well, because it was a multiplat release. It has an improved port of another of its best games, MK8, then a sequel to Splatoon (though I don't know which one is better), it will soon have a 3D Mario that has the potential of being the best 3D Mario ever made and a Xenoblade, and this will be within its first 9 months. |

The Wii U has pretty much the worst library of any mainstream video game console.
The Switch will have a better library by the middle of next year then what the Wii U acheived during it's lifetime.
I hope Grasshopper's new PS4 game LET IT DIE will also come to the Nintendo Switch!

Honestly, my Switch library has already far surpassed my Wii U library at its peak, and there are more games coming. Is a beast.
Not changing this sig until Another Code R (Wii) is announced for the US.

The Wii U had some great exclusive games but I think overall the Switch will have the superior library.

Not yet but way to early on to make a fair comparison but with a decent amount of wii u ports so far id imagine switch is going cannabilize the most popular wii u games while adding its own library

The Switch will have a library that is almost as good as the Wii U's total library in just 1 year. The Switch will definitely have a better library when it is all said and done.

Well, strictly from the 1st Party standpoint, the Wii U had a pretty strong lineup:
- 3D World - NSMBU/NSLU - Captain Toad - Xenoblade X - DKCTF - Mario Kart 8 - Smash 4 - Mario Maker - Splatoon - BOTW - Hyrule Warriors - Star Fox Now granted some of those are already on Switch and 3DS but that's still a decent 1st Party lineup and the Switch seems to be on the path of having a much better lineup already.

The NS library is atrocious save for smo and xc2. Eventually it will surpass the wiiU library by the third year or so if third parties don't get on board.

It should because it's selling better. But Wii U had a high quality lineup, small but that's like most Nintendo consoles.

We'll see if Smash is a new title or another port.
